Because I’m not a scientist—but I happen to live with one—I look at healthcare communications through a uniquely empathetic lens. I put myself directly in the patient’s shoes. When a diagnosis happens, I want to know the benefits, the risks, and the “why.” I want to elucidate the clinical jargon so that patients can truly take their health into their own hands.
